'A most gifted author'
Dr. Michele Savaunah Zirkle is a most gifted author. Over the years, it has been an honor to publish her many creative works in our Journal of Health and Human Experience. Without question, her short stories and vignettes are truly inspirational and have garnered amazingly complimentary accolades from many of our readers across the globe. In reflecting on her many creative works with us, and as a published creative author myself for many years especially in poetry, Dr. Zirkle’s works strike me in a most abiding manner. She truly embodies in herself the very meaning of creative writing and authorship. While what she writes is most poignant and exact, her works even more deeply open the doors to critically needed reflections for one’s own self as well as for the entire experience of what it means to be human and alive. Dr. Zirkle is not just proficient. She is deeply prophetic…raising up all that we must consider for the ongoing pathways and journeys we all must take. She embodies what literature and writing have always meant for the advancement of who we are and all we are called to be and do especially for those most in need.

Wisdom that is truly inspiring
It was quite a coup for The AIR to become the home of Michele Zirkle Marcum's Life Speaks radio show. Her fresh take on how the paranormal makes itself known in our everyday lives is powerful, optimistic and enlightening. Spinning out of the experiences that formed the basis of her novel, Rain No Evil, Michele's unique take on the hidden philosophies and factions at work in the real world presents a new wisdom that is truly inspiring.

A rare honesty in the writing
There's a rare honesty in the writing of Rain No Evil. After reading this story, I remembered everything that happened as though the events had actually happened to me. I've never experienced that before in a book, and I can tell you I have never been so pulled into a story as I have with this one. It can't be placed into a neat box of horror or suspense or supernatural. It is as original as it is fascinating. Wickedly funny, yet profoundly sincere and thought provoking. I loved it.
